Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I am a BN foamer, but unfortunately I'm not interested in dealing with PWRS.

Would love to have a set...maybe when one hits eBay in a few years.

They look good ...... but ....... when are the baggage cars coming? Not even an artists impression available. I ordered one of their other N scale sets back in 2008 and I am still waiting for the matching cafe/lounge cars, due this month apparently, (well according to the sellers web page) with Dec 2015 due date on the baggage car.

I have been told it is the manufacturer who is holding up the completion of the order, guess who the manufacturer is?

$59 for the initial four cars, and then a baggage car at some point? That's cheaper than a Kato set.

Other than a Kato SD70MAC being renumbered to 9400, has anyone done the Fs or E in BN executive paint?

Uh, that's for one car in the set. The wording in the ad is confusing, but each car costs $59.95

Hmm... count me out...
I'm not a BN fan...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Yes, as Kiz stated...you need to check the price again.   At least a $300 bill for 5 cars.   And I was hoping that Kato was going to do the BNSF business train at some point. (since they are doing the UP...oh wait not yet... :P )

Con-Cor did an E unit. (and a foobie B to go with it)    I have a couple of the passenger cars...aside from being foobs they aren't bad looking cars.   Nice paint.  :|

The F units are supposedly too "kitbashed" to be released on a stock F9 (or F7 as it were...don't think an F9 has been done by anyone "recently")   Intermountain at one point was saying they were doing an F9 and said they would consider doing the Exec unit schemes, but that was probably ten years ago and so far...nothing.   I don't know enough about F-units to know the differences...someone talked about doing an F7 run as a special run but again I haven't seen anything more about that in several years.  (I think it was being thrown around on the Atlas forum but I'm not 100% sure that's where it was)   I've since changed era's and don't need the BN business train as much, but I would still get one if it worked out.

I think it would be cool if Kobo did a 9400, with the stainless handrails.   8)

Next year? Where are you getting this info? I say 2073 at the earliest.

You're fired again.

Not my road but very cool nonetheless.  Especially since the models are nearly exact matches tooling-wise to the prototype.

My father shot this video of the Nebraska Zephyr in 89.  Note car 1 is "Big Horn Pass" in green and white, car 2 is "Stevens Pass", and car 6 is "Como" also in green and white.

Good to see my message to Mike on Facebook didn't fall on deaf ears...

Now to save up $240...

Will these only be available through PWRS? Guessing so.

Got these, plus Mississippi River, from the Kato car.

Wish someone did the great dome, one day, someone will, or kitbash the Bachmann.

If everything goes smoothly/as planned, I should have about 13 ish cars for my train.

Fired again .............dang; thought I might make the week....

Now boss; you know you want to make the baggage car in N scale.... just like you want to make the Royal Hudson in Z scale for that layout you keep in the arm of your club car desk chair...right?

But maybe the Z Royal Hudson can wait until after the LRC as well as the Canadian in N?
