Decent writing skills, check.
A willingness to write product announcement blogs in a timely manner, possibly (but has nothing to do with qualifications).
An established N scale modeler, check.
Existing acquaintance preferred, assumed (but again has nothing to do with qualifications).

What more qualification do you need?
