Likewise I'm out for this one, between a new baby, new kitchen and wanting to make both Bedford and the RPM in Springfield in September.

I'll be in Denver, Colorado in conflict with part of this one. Looks like it will be a fun time. Hoping the summer schedule permits time at Chantilly in August.

Lately the basement beast has been fending for itself with the demands on my time.

Room sales started last night (Monday evening) and it looks like it will be a great convention!

Peter Harris of N Scale Kits has a new model with him.  More info later.

Here is some more information on the new N Scale Kits model.  It is a 1960s Flexi-Van auto carrier.

The kit consists of an etched brass body with cast metal landing gear and wheels.

Just saw Peter and picked up the Queen Mary, PRR FD2. Trucks are provided but Peter said to go to Shapeways to pick their 4 axle truck
I'll around the T-Trak modules on & off thru out the convention.

Hazzah!  Need some pics.  Any chance he'll do a 60s stock trailer, like the apparently-never-to-be-produced again Lineside model?  http://www.rphobbies.com/1960s-stock-trailer.html

New or what was shown last year at the convention?

Jason,

It is new, but my photo is not that great.

Bryan,

If you can find a stock trailer that was used in intermodal service, I bet Peter might consider it.

Charlie Vlk has samples of the new magnetically-operated coupler that will appear first on the Arnold U25C, and eventually will be sold as a separate item.  About 25% smaller than a standard MTL knuckle and no oscillating spring.

It will come with its own coupler box, which will fit anywhere the MTL box fits without any shims needed.  The coupler itself also will fit inside a standard MTL 1015 coupler box (or integrated coupler pocket), but would require an extra .015" shim below the coupler inside the lid.

I wanted to wait to ask until you posted a better shot, but is the flat painted on the heavy side or is what I'm seeing because of the cast metal?

The car looks goods and I'll be in for a couple, it's just that it looks a bit chunky for lack of a better word.

Thanks for the Pics Bryan.. the Well Flat is cool,  I'd grab one in Conrail to support the cause :)... How are the X72s coming along?..

Your Broadway photos are half :o and half  :RUEffinKiddingMe:
:o in that they actually accomplished something.
 :RUEffinKiddingMe: at the paint schemes..

FVMs Roundhouse is impressive..  I'm in for all the Conrail related stuff..

Was Kato waving around more photos of models they 'haven't' produced.... yet....?

Cool stuff! :) ~Ian

Heavily-painted.  I have one of the kits in hand and it looks fine.  They will be posted for sale on the NSK website on July 1.
