Jan 2014 - Hart Ballast Cars, PS-2750 Hoppers

These are new, no?  :D

Yes, the 2750s are new tooling which we first showed in June at the N Scale Enthusiast convention.

We are always open to special runs if they can meet MOQs.  If you are interested, send me a PM and I will get you in contact with the right person.

Wait, aren't you the CEO?  Don't you just snap your fingers and stuff gets done?    :D

PM Sent.

In this case ... please, can you make a "snap" also for some western modelers: SP Tiger strip paint version of the S2?
Thanks in advance Mr.Santa K.!

Post-1973 89' flats painted for GN?  Um, didn't the GN cease to exist in 1970? Me confused.

The prototype GN flat cars were very similar to the model (most 89' flat cars have only minor differences).

These will be non-dynamic.  In the rush to get the catalog together the artwork was done on the wrong master.

As always nice to know the right people are reading these posts. You can count me in for two for sure. While on the subject of N&W diesels a GP9 in black with Norfolk & Western spelled out in yellow would be nice. Many of them in the 700 number series where in that paint for a long time.
Your layouts nice, but it needs more Conrail !

Must check library.  If these something close enough came in green, I just might pull that trigger and back date them and repaint.  But blue is too painful...

But the TTCX flats, anyone know the era/timeframe for those?  And what they are used for?  Hardly any pictures online of 89' TTCX lettered flats.

The "C" in the TTCX referred to container, so these were set up for container service. I don't have my books or photos handy, but from memory, they didn't have hitches applied.

So will these get done in TT Brown?  I notice the HO one's haven't yet.

Was the prototype painted brown?  Or was the TT paint scheme already yellow when they were released?  I vaguely remember seeing a thread on this when the Atlas model was first announced and that the MTL brown cars are foobs.

The TTAX reporting marks on the MTL car are correct in Brown.   But for the rest of the details, I can't remember where the MTL car fits in the timeline with the Atlas car.  I really just want one or two for variety and don't want to repaint the MTL cars (that white deck looks like a real pain to do).

I'm just thinking that if the GN car from '68 passes, then there should some TT Brown car that can pass as well.

I really wish we could get some hi-nose C628's in C&NW scheme. If my memory serves, they had 3, and each one was slightly different in scheme. One had a full cab painted green while the other two had both green and yellow. Didn't N&W have hi-nose Alco Centurys too?

Now if Atlas really wants my dollars... Make "Michigan" Ore cars without car numbers so I can buy 60 to 80 cars. C&NW and DMIR use these cars, and allot of them... I can do the numbering...

I'm just dreaming...

DM&IR had 'Minnesota' cars.  I would love to see someone do these, but one issue is the 5' wheelbase trucks.  I don't know that anyone would take the chance on tooling new trucks just for ore cars.
