A new E7, more SD40-2's, standard cab SD70 and C40-9, Phase 3 GP9, more passenger cars, open hoppers, anything Virginian especially an EL-C or updated Trainmaster, and for Fox Valley's SD70ACe's to arrive soon!
Broadway Limited supposedly just did another run of their E7s. Sound only though.

I really wish Kato would do an E7.

Bachmann, please release an N scale version of your excellent HO scale Berkshire, and please do it as well as the EM-1.  I'll add the sound.

And I second the request for a FM H10-44 and/or H12-44 switcher.   With a sound option, please, because switchers are really hard to add sound to (!).

And would SOMEONE make a really nice-running, good pulling, DCC/sound-ready, no-rework-of-mechanism-required USRA light Mike???  Might I suggest NKP 587 as your prototype, on display for any manufacturer to see and measure at the Indiana Transportation Museum.

I'd like to see; hell; I'll get down and beg for a quality single window heavyweight coach. I'd really like to see a Procor/CPR/PGE style Pressure Unload hopper and would be right giddy over a selection of heavyweight baggage cars..... I'd love the time to get past the benchwork stage of my son and my display show layout and finally I'd like a new player to announce a as if yet unmodelled Canadian prototype locomotive (or two) in N scale... complete with sound.... Nah, will never happen..... :D
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I feel like a spoiled brat. I asked for (and got) UP water tenders from James Norris this past year. And as if that weren't enough, I may also get a C&NW Atlantic from Superturbine Jason in the near feature. So, I cast all of my spare good vibes onto whatever y'all might want. Me, I'm good  :D

Cheers,

C55 and an AEM7 because that would completely screw up my intended model area,

Well, good health of course, and especially keeping the old peepers in shape.  A committed N scaler at 58...if there is a God, he will see to that!

Second, continued improvement in the economy, so if anyone does keep coming out with stuff I want, I can buy it within reason without feeling guilty.

Third, the will power to turn down most of that stuff someone will come out with,

4th - time to start and nearly finish scenery on the IHB.

5th, contact custom painters to fill out a more prototypical loco roster for the IHB.

6th, time to generate an ops scheme that works for this layout.  (that takes a surprising amount of time)

Lastly, some folks to come over and operate as a team, and have the layout run nearly flawlessly.

I thought that we would see a thread like this sooner or later.

From manufacturers, it would be nice to see Atlas solve the track supply issues as it seems that a lot of layout builders are held up waiting for track.  I would like to see Micro Engineering get a larger switch ie. #8 tooled.  I still think that there is room in the market for a line of finer track than Code 40.  More Canadian locomotives and freight cars will be nice to see, and I second the call for the pressure unloading hoppers.

After reading John Columbo's sound installation tutorials, I would like to see ESU try and get their Micro Select decoder a little smaller.

For myself, I am hoping to finish off most outstanding model projects by the end of January so that I can get back to work on the layout in 2014.  I want to get the mainline laid and wired after mastering turnout installation, actuating and wiring.

Model projects for 2014 will include the business car for my museum train, and the crane and idler for my Prince George Auxiliary.

I have very conservative goals.   I simply want to get my layout back to running trains status.   I had trains running, then took everything apart to wire feeders and weather track, and that's been over a year ago.   So if I can just get those things accomplished I'll be happy.   I finally bought a drill press so a remotely second place project would be drilling/assembling my welded rail cars.   Pie-in-the-sky is to get an airbrush rig set up.

I'm planning to be very conservative with purchases too.   I finally got a PayPal debit card and my goal is a "zero budget" year...meaning all purchases will hopefully be made via eBay sales or other PayPal transactions and not from the bank account.   I have quite a bit on order, so it might be a challenge but I'm gonna try.

Regarding "wishlist" items, I have a few I'll throw out since they probably wouldn't actually make the shelves this year anyway.
-Athearn hi-side thrall coal gons.   I would love for them to revamp these, but a re-release of FPPX would still likely be a purchase.
-BLMA 48ft Spine Cars.
-GP50
-SW1
That's my short list.  Always looking for more quality freight cars, especially tank cars and my dark horse carbon black hoppers.
