Crappy phone camera shot, got it today (about 2 weeks after ordering iirc) so pretty snappy service. Thanks Bob, she's a beaut!

That thing is a monster.  The HO version would take up half my bench work by itself, never mind the pit it would need to occupy...   :o

Still an awesome piece of equipment though.

Cheers,
Brian
I've never met a covered hopper I didn't like.... :)

Now you need a D11 dozer or a large bucket loader and some giant dump trucks. Then you have a good scene.

That model is just a piece of art. Would like to get one just to have it. Other modeling priorities are getting in the way.

Brian and uh....Brian (swear something funny went on to have you guys post one after another ) it's an absolutely fantastic looking model that's for sure. Seems like everything bar some details is made from metal and it weighs an absolute ton, on top of that it's got a huge amount of functionality in the bucket, the cables, it rotates on the tracks, the tracks rotate, the electrical cable spindle at the rear rotates but the cable doesn't unroll so I'll need to find a suitable yellow cable for mine once it gets a home.

Definitely need a couple of haul trucks for it! And thanks again to Bob at Traincat, great service  :D

Hey everyone,

Just to let you know the Aggregate Unloader is now available and in the online store. The kit is a complete facility and includes the Pit, Pit Hopper w/Grating, Both Primary Conveyor and Rotating Secondary Conveyor, Drop Chute, Landing and Stairs. Both Conveyors have walkways. Here is a pic, but the pit is the prototype done in ABS. The new Pit is a cardboard product that will look like realistic concrete when painted.

Those conveyors look sweet!

The mining operation on my layout is done a scale 7000 ft. below the surface. So I only need to build a material storage building and a load out. I do need a long conveyor to go from the storage building to the top of the load out.

When I was going to do this layout in HO, I was going to use the Walthers Blue Star Cement structure for my load out. With changing my layout plans to N-Scale, I now have to come up with something different. The Medusa Cement structure will not work.

Your conveyor etchings look great. I am going to have to look over your web site to see what items I can use for my mine site.

One of those 'have to find a need for' things, that ag unloader!

I'll keep in touch for the other items possibly in the works as the 4100 needs some friends.
