Do You Mine . . . . . . ?

Hello All,

Since a large part of our railroad traffic comes from mining, we are now offering a modern Mining Shovel in N-Scale, the P&H 4100XPC in standard delivery and pre-weathered. These models are a huge step in realism for N-Scale. The shovels are here and I can also have them dropped shipped.

It took me two years of begging and pleading with P&H to allow the access to these. They were commissioned as internal only gifts to new shovel owners. By P&H's rules, quantities are limited. Expect a large Mining Haul Truck too.

FEATURES:
  • True 1/160th Scale
  • Detailed photoetch catwalks and realistically scaled railings
  • Replicated cable reel, work lighting, A/C units and deck plating
  • Positionable crowd and opening dipper door
  • Rotating carbody
  • Key operated dipper hoist winch
  • Individually-linked metal tracks with tensioners
  • Pivoting access ladder
  • Detailed operator's cab

MODEL DIMENSIONS:
  • 8" Long
  • 3.5" Wide
  • 5.25" Tall

Available in Factory paint

Also available weathered. Here is a size comparison of how big these shovels are.

Hopefully I can save up enough to grab one before they disappear, severe case of wants going on right now (and can use it too).

Sure can't use it on my small layout but it is a beaut.  Should be nominated for N scale vehicle of the year.

Nominated ?  I'd cancel the voting and present the award today.

Oh man. This is like the holy grail of N scale vehicle collectors. Now I have to cone up with the cash...
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Unfortunately, TWH Collectibles, LLC released the model in 2012.

WOW!  That thing is unreal!  I didn't go looking for it because I'm afraid to find out the price. It looks like it would be more expensive than my Sakatsu Big-Boy (brass engine)!

That is a work of art. Congratulations on such a wonderful piece of 1:160 craftsmanship....
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Bob, do you have any detailed photos of the electrical connection at the back of these?

Sure, No problem. Send me an email with your address so I can get a quote for shipping over to you.

And just so the HO Guys don't feel left out, Here is one for them (personally, I think the N-Scale Shovel has more and better detail).
