Ed and Von: Thank you. "kin-wid" is how I would have pronounced it, as it does look Welsh, but American names often bear little resemblance to the original language.
After all, how many people would pronounce "Saguache" as "sa-WASH"? It's a town in Colorado, and several articles over the years have mentioned their seemingly endless battle to explain that it's not "sa-GOO-chee". And, of course, for the narrow gaugers, "Antonito" is pronounced with an "A" on the end, not an "O"....
As for the plane, this is apparently the second time one of these has landed at the wrong airport. The last one, sometime back, chose an even smaller field. At least the train could get out without any trouble!
