What you do need is that little bulk loader that has an M&P boxcar being used as a storage bin.  I used to have a picture of it, but apparently it is lost to the ages.  Pretty sure it stood on that lot with all the trailers.  You and I inspected it in 2007, the same trip I photographed this.

Nevermind.  Apparently I can't load any pictures from the old website.  But we hiked around in the snow and shot the old coal trestle (now gone) the WM freight house (now gone) and a few other treasures between the creek and Windsor street.

Check your photo files.  You might have some pictures from that trip too.

Build the creek! Build the creek! Build the creek!
Make ConRail Great Again!!* :D

If you also put in that building that curves along the track it too will help disguise the small radius of the curve.

*Would make a great slogan on a Conrail Blue cap.

Haha, I think I was actually just painting the stand-in silos as you were typing this.  That's the little facility right there on the corner: Ohio Blenders.

And yes, after referring to a bunch of prototype photos, it is indeed all blue like this. I know I need to fix up the legs and everything, but it's a start. Sadly, I don't think there's space for the 40' boxcars.

Selective compression.  You have room for one of them.  And if you don't, you make room for one of them.  How iconic a location do you need?

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Paving progress in downtown York continues, aided with a little help by my friends.

However, this has lead me to a conundrum that I'm trying to solve. I've thought about adding another street along the front here, like this.

Given the way that the scene actually works in real life (see image below), I'm not sure how it's gonna work.

The area is already so compromised, but I think it might be worth it for scenes like this.

What do you all think?

I think you just found the “reason” for your low bridge there....  “it settled during the earthquake”
