The trash train derails

The CSX trash train out of NYC derailed a while ago. I just stumbled onto these pics posted on the Metro North Flickr page. Check them out.

They are really good pictures....  Some of the trucks seem to have come apart.  Strange, but maybe that is more normal than I would suppose.

Unlike the N scale truck's 1-piece moldings of the bolster and sideframes, the 1:1 trucks are made from separate parts. You bang them hard enough and they'll come apart!   :D  Actually, some of the H0 and larger scale trucks (usually sprung) have separate sideframes and bolster, similar in design to the 1:1 trucks..

It's one reason I avoid Google+ like the plague--the + version of Picasa makes me insane. I fear one day "normal" Picasa will succumb to the seizure-inducing trend.

The empty one derailed in Baltiore about a month ago.  No garbage but it still stunk like hell.

Is that a third rail we see in some pictures ?  ( on the outside of the regular tracks )
