I start:  CORX 5000 Series Tank Cars

-  Unit train
- West and east
-  They go past a certain person we all know and love who probably has 20,000 photographs of them
- Interesting, unique, popular brand related....

Well, I can't say I can argue with that guess.

Mine was BNSF Foobie Reefers, but the more I look at the photo, I'm starting to talk myself out of it because it seems the silhouette is too short on the top left side...I would think the reefer would push outside that boundary.  (of course, they could have photoshopped the sky there...)   And, they didn't really commonly run in unit trains like the UP ones.

Otherwise, not really sure.  Someone mentioned some kind of bulkhead or centerbeam flat, but I don't see them being in 6 or 12 packs.

It's not 48ft spine cars, so I am sad.   :| 8)

Given the space between the trucks of the blacked out car and those it is coupled to, it is not likely to be that (CORX) car. Trucks on the mystery car are set in from the ends too much.

Doug - the reason I am so sure is that the tanker to the left is SURELY a CORX car - and the car to the right is a CORX car - probably shot on that huge lead track in Golden.

Take a look:

Might not be coupled - this could be in the COORS yard - I am positive the cars on the two sides are CORX cars....

Yep, very well could be.    Doesn't look like those would be a purchase for me unfortunately, unless there are similar cars they could be used for.

If I am right about this, I am pretty happy, since my thought has been to model an appalachian area with played out mines bringing some new industries in like paper recycling and beer making.  I had always thought about having a Coors plant since touring the place - at least three times over the years!!!!  :)

My guess is that it's modern and I won't have any interest.

They don't go by anymore, not since Shenandoah started brewing their own from scratch some 6 or so years ago...

I like beer......Coors isn't on the list.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Not trying to start a fight. Just joking around...we do that here you know.
I don't really care for any of the mass produced beers. More of a craft beer fan.

My guess for the BLMA car is....something that will make some people happy, and other people sad, and most people neither.

Best wishes, Dave
