More NS rebodies...

FreightCar America has been rebodying the former Trinity built H49 and H50 hoppers into hybrid gons (G117R and G118R)... now they're also rebodying the former Conrail H2 classes into stainless steel triple hoppers.  What's neat is that these are the first cars to get NS assigned classes for former Conrail cars applied to the car*... in this case, HP28R and HP29R (and presumably HP30R)

*All the former CR cars has an assigned class... i.e,  the Conrail class G52X gons were NS class GP9... the Conrail H2Bs were NS class HP29, thus HP29R on the rebodies.

NS and CSX both have them...

Of interest... CSX got theirs delivered painted (first in grey... now in black) after which NS followed suit.  The first NS order REALLY shows the low-quaility stainless steel used...

They are following in the footsteps of the old PRR.  They rebodied many a hopper car.
