NS testing BNSF ES44C4s

NS will be testing some ES44C4s out of Roanoke tomorrow.  Unlike previous adhesion tests done on Starkey Hill on the Winston-Salem line, these tests will be more extensive, utilizing the Christiansburg and Whitehorne Districts (former N&W and VGN, respectively).  Plan is to run west up Christiansburg hill (N&W) then onward to Narrows, then go east over the VGN.

Correct: AC motors, but A1A.

I was under the impression that BNSF's initial tests on grades were less than stellar, but they're everywhere out here now.  Did GE modify them after the initial release?
