I'm will also negotiate for Undec's up front as well...I don't want to expose Art to any unessary labor or chemical strippers in his pursuit to overcome my unwillingness to do the road he Models.   :D  First release will have walk way mounted handrails and AAR style trucks...we will also be doing the later truck styles as well...eventually another body that has the railing mounted along the hood...at least that's the plan today. ;)

Joe
What about flexicoil trucks?

That's great news.  You might want to think about offering them seperate for the scrachbuilders who want to convert other locomotives.

If you offer undecs, please make sure that they are un-assembled (with the detail parts not glued to the shell).  Other company's undecs often are basically fully assembled models in a solid gray pain scheme.  They are just as much of a pain to custom-paint as fully decorated models.  Some of the Life Like undec models were actually spray painted with gray paint over a gray plastic shell!  So, they had to be stripped, just like any fully decorated model and the handrails, etc. had to be pried from the shell.

I suspect that these kind of "problems" are due to miscommunication between the US company's staff and the actual manufacturer in China.  Maybe if the manufacturer is told that undecs need to be bare plastic with all the detail parts separately packed in the box they will actually do that.

On something like this it would be wise to keep all the parts seperate anyway.  Press fit only works once with plastic. :D

Joe, please do not do the SW1500 for Conrail... probably would not sell too well

Hopefully the flexicoils will be sold separately as a part.

Additional news:

Along with the two PS-3 hopper pilot models, Atlas has a functioning S-2 pilot model on display with various diesel sounds emanating from the decoder board.

InterMountain has the wartime emergency boxcar pilot on display.  The 53' flatcars and bulkhead flatcars are still delayed.

Fox Valley had painted samples of the GP60 and GP60B, as well as pilot models of the Canstock boxcar.

Bluford Shops had final package samples of the next release of the auto parts boxcars and transfer cabooses.

Wheels Of Time had painted pilot samples of the next run of PC&F boxcars, including a new third version with Superior doors and side vents decorated in various Western Fruit Express schemes.

"Can't find any in the ORER.

This should be the 2750:

http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1238291"

SOU 73750 - 73949 (200 cars) and CNO&TP 281300 - 281599

The diagrams for these cars can be found on page 171 of the file below...
http://southernmodeler.info/SRrollingstock/SR_FRT_CAR_DGMS_1969.pdf

In addition to these cars (the 9-panel cars were much more numerous) there was also secondhand hoppers from the original Norfolk Southern that can be represented by the 14-panel Bluford Shops car, NS 8200 - 8229 became SOU (NS) 73950 - 73979 while 8400 - 8469 became SOU (NS) 74689 - 74758.  The diagram for the first group of cars is on page 403, the second on page 406 of the 1982 diagram book file...

So they weren't PS3s.  I wonder how close they are.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought that was obvious.
