Just found this on the net.  Apparently in DC and they haven't officially dedicated it as yet.

Not sure if this has made the rounds yet... And no  time take a photo because I didn't want to miss my train but the Amtrak P42 Beech Grove was nose in at Union Station in DC sporting a paint scheme I'd never seen - full nose red white and blue (dark blue too) and a nifty "Salutes Our Veterans" grahic taking up about 12 to 16 feet  of the loco's side.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

It was in the station when I saw it, so maybe they had dedicated it.  If it's still there today and I'm not running late again I'll try to snap some pics with my cell.

Beautiful loco making a great statement.  How soon until Kato releases it?  I'd be in for one.
Best regards,

Roger

That is the problem with too many forums.

I do really like this scheme though.  I am sure Kato will do one.

Is the item being discussed 1:1 loco or N scale?  If it is N scale it belongs here. If it is 1:1 scale, if belongs in prototype forum.  This is not rocker science - just some forethought before posting.     :|   I thing this forum is divided up very nicely.  :D
