What? And spoil all the 'fun'?

Well, the more time I waste on wild goose chases, the less money I have for a certain companies' detail parts, vehicles, and...ahem...couplers.

You know, Micro-Trains!  :P

Oh ok, so the whole thing was just you being a  jerk.  WELL that makes a lot more sense now I guess looking back at it.

I get that is doesn't take much time to click and scroll.   The majority of folks on this board have "insider info" at some level...I'm just not used to someone coming on and "scoreboarding" everyone with it, so I assumed there was actually some news or an update somewhere.  But, I won't make that mistake again.

Sorry Doug. All I can say is that the guesses were wrong. I am not sure what will be announced THIS week, but I have knowledge of a future project being worked on now. I think you will see it very soon. Best I can do under the circumstances.

Personally I don't care what the announcement is.   Kato has done some pretty bizarre things over the years, but for them to release something I would buy at this point (and considering we are eliminating all of the aforementioned guesses) would require a level of crazy that I'm not even sure Kato could come up with.  (read: most of the stuff I need would probably not be commercially viable in mass-producted plastic)

I was really just interested in seeing what the proverbial forum dumpster fires were gonna be focused on.

I spent a bit of time as well looking in a few places. No big deal for me...and I have to admit to enjoying the thread a bit because all the "product insight" and comments were so spot on. Its like there is a script, and I enjoyed the subtle reminder of how new products are discussed online. No offence intended to anyone involved.

Anyhow, its almost Thursday, and some people will be happy, and some people will be disappointed. And the ride height is perfect or its bad, and the details should be freestanding or they shouldn't and why did they choose that roadname when this road had more of them, and can you believe the MSRP or this is a good value....or.....

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Two of their Reps at the Worlds Greatest Hobby Show in Salt Lake two years ago were practically spilling the beans to all of us attendees. If this isn't so , thats oke dokie with me,I turst Ktoo (toh) will come up with something good. Nate Goodman (Nato).

Nato, there may well be new steam and/or new passenger car tooling in the offing, but this particular thread was prompted by the announcement in last month's Kato flyer:

TBA - N Scale New tooling North American Prototype Freight car Set #1 (and #2,3,4)

Personally I don't care what the announcement is.

Then it shouldn't have been hard to dial down the angry personal jabs.  Let's save those for in-person reunions around the Thanksgiving table.   :P

I didn't say I didn't care about the obviously smart-aleck response to my request.   8)

Takes a lot to rile up mild mannered DRD....Soo, not so much!

If couples are the issue is couplers, maybe Kato is planning on re-issuing the Bethgons as rotary gons with real operating couplers.......and maybe Walthers will do the loading dock for real unloading.  Who knows.

The more accurate statement would be "think they have insider info"
