As an aside, the '76 couldn't be moved by rail without a LOT of work and then only would be done in a 'Hospital Move' (or by itself with a couple cars in tow for extra braking power). That is IF you convince NS and CSX to do it and IF you pay the huge rates they would charge and IF the FRA would allow it and approve the request.

With all the bureacuacy moving by either truck or rail, it's no wonder you can't get anything done today.

my girlfriend was writing a paper for school on how she would spend a million dollars, I guess moving a GG1 and restoring it could take up that whole one million!

Cody, you'd still be short, but maybe you could do a cosmetic and a move for a cool million.

If I had a million, I'd be into tank car leasing. That is gonna take off BIGTIME as time goes by.
