Wow, that would make a great centerpiece for a diorama! :tommann:
And I would to see what it looked like after you did your magic on it. Gray primer just doesn't cut it....

Hitting 64 this year, and with all the projects I've got to complete on my modular layout and only 20 years or so to complete 'em...well...I can see I'm gonna have to save up for my own laser cutter.

Very nice indeed!

So is this gonna be a product one can buy? Or are you just rubbing our faces in it?   :trollface:

That is a fantastic structure.  I'm in awe that it could be whipped up in the depths of insomnia.

I wouldn't do that :o  If you see me post something on here it usually means I am planning to produce it, if the consensus is that it would be well received. The double SW station kits have taken awhile because I made last minute additions to them. This bridge needs to be made more economically to make it affordable as a kit. I may have made the first one overnight but I've been working some of the kinks out of it and will take some time to the point of actual release.

You wish John :D

I-ca-rumba....

When I can't sleep I usually just walk out to the living room... lay down on the couch... and take a nap. What does Karin do? Well, she only creates amazing works of art that would take weeks for one of us mere mortals.

Wow!

You guys are quite entertaining! This is merely what I know how to do, I wish I had a fraction of the train knowledge that you all possess. And I can see that whatever doubts I had about producing this kit have quickly faded. I'm working on the instructions now. BTW, I pulled (stretched?) the lower section down to give it a bit more height with an added bonus of the bridge arches looking more graceful.

The price; I can keep it a tad lower if I don't use dealers but dealers are going to want them. List will be in the $55 range, direct from me will be $45. Shipping might be a little more because it will not fit into a small flat rate box. Kit includes matching concrete looking extensions and a longer road base to help blend into the terrain on either side. This thing is so sturdy you could practically drive a real car over it ;-}

Karin -

Anyway you can show what you mean by the "pulled/stretched" changes you mention?  I rather like what you showed previously with the one exception being that I'd like to see thicker more substantial verticals above the arch, supporting the deck.

Looking through the photos I took last night none of them are at an angle for a good comparison.  When looking at the first bridge compared to the photo of the real bridge it was evident to me that it needed a "lift". Now it looks more like the photo plus it gives more clearance if you want a train to go under this bridge. I'll try to get a better photo later. My modeler husband liked the new version hands down.
