Microscale Decal Price Increase

I noticed Microscale N scale decals went up from $5.75 a set to $6.50 a set. Not that it would keep me from buying any sets I need.

Hmm... do they make
Chiquita banana decals...?

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

I still have sets in my stash that are marked with prices of $2.00 and some even less.

it'd be great if they'd correct some of their innacurate decals then...for that price.  or allow custom ordering without requirements for 250 sheets...

Exactly. I'm not begrudging them their raise :). Just that if anyone needs some decals, now might be the time to buy old stock at the lower prices before the dealers raise their prices.

Hmm... never buy old
stock bananas...

be very careful buying old stock decals. The decal film reacts to uneven temperature and humidity storage and crack so when wet they go into a zillion pieces. I have even had this problem with new ones ordered direct from their factory.

It sucks but such is life. I just wish they'd do a run of 60-737 so I can stock up on them. More things to put in the box labeled 'good intentions'.

Their prices are insanely economically reasonable on custom decals when you supply your own digital "camera ready" artwork, so much so that the 250 minimum is inconsequential and the overall cost of the job is less than if you commissioned decals elsewhere at a far lower quantity.

Well All prices are going up sorry to say. Mine will go up 15% in June 1st just to cover price increases for supplies and shipping. Just got in some Bass wood sheets and up 10% from three months ago. Micro Ply has done the same thing and it just goes on. This is thre first I have raised them ever and hard to do but have too.

After a discount from the retailor still a good deal.  I just wish they would jump all over the MT heavyweights and bring out some variety in car names and roads.

No way to control that if buying from an online retailer, like some of us are required to do.  If your worried about that, hit the sheet with your favorite sealer before applying and that should take care of the problem.  I've had one set of decals do what you describe, but they weren't Microscale.

As for the price increase, that hurts a little but not much.  I was more disappointed when Kleins did away with thier discount...so I just buy direct from MS now.
