I was googling GP7s and came across this pic of a modified GP7. First thing that popped into my mind was "crew-cab".

So that's either a CF-7 that went horribly wrong, or some sort of overseas job returned to retire stateside.

CNW's Crandall Cab E8 or 9 (?) is plain ugly, this looks - hmm - interesting...

All that mod and a patch paint job . Looks faded so it has eluded me/us for quite some time . I bet Dan can fire truck detail this .

Made me think of this BN GP9, http://archive.trainpix.com/bn/EMDORIG/GP9/1965.HTM

They added the windows for a crew area for 5 man crews.  Didn't work out, the nose section because hot and humid and a sauna.
