Santa (My Mrs.) gave me after I purchased via Flebay two covered hoppers. I got a weathered IM Sands of Iowa 4750 C/H and an Atlas TM Alaska Agriculture 4750 C/H.

Got a copy of RMC and The Railroad Press in my stocking...  Best thing though was the vinyl-mp3 converter...  Time to convert ALL the records!

Since I work for Santa the kids avoid train stuff.  Mostly warm weather gear and accessories for my Jeep rebuild project.  After the 6th snow storm in 7 days they should have gotten me a snowplow :o)  Oh, I did treat myself to several Yosemite Valley Railroad disc's.

Merry Christmas to the Railwire folks, looking forward to more fun in the new year  :D

Santa gave me a great day with all 3 kids,daughter in law,4 grandsons,1 great grandson,and my incredible wife of 47 years plus.

Oh and a kitten calender and $50.00 to buy trains with. :D :D :D

I knew there was a reason I liked you, Puddington. I am having so much fun smiling at all my ViQueens "friends" right now. they were so in my face earlier in the season. They never learn.  :D

But to get back on topic... Not only did I get a boxed set of RR videos, but also a boxed set of aircraft videos, a DVD copy of "Wings" (the original film from 1927) and a Green Bay Packers throw blanket. To keep me warm through the playoffs.

Oh, and don't tell anyone... but I got real nice deal on a DCC equiped LL GP-20. Sometimes ya just gotta take things into your own hands. Ya know what I mean? Anyway... it's currently in NYC colors. But I'm gonna black patch it for my local (read: freelanced) short line. Between that, a couple SW9's and those two BL-2's I have, (if I can ever remember where I stashed 'em) it should make for a terrific, if somewhat odd, roster.

To continue the Packers theme, I got a Clay Matthews III jersey shirt (got a Donald Driver jersey for my bday back in November). Also got some CDs and Movies, Kicker speakers for the front doors of my car (finally outfitted: Kickers in front, Rockford Fosgate in rear, Sound Ordnance Sub in trunk, and JVC reciever to power the tunes :D ).
On the train front, I got a pack of 10" radius half curves, 4 sticks of flex, BLMA gon, due a BLMA hopper at some point, the winter issue of Classic Trains (real neat CNW article), and went and blew some cash at the local hobby shop in Greenville with huge discounts, so a lot of other goodies...gonna be a good second week of school break once I get back home.

It's not that difficult .. I put in all my cabinets myself .. instead of paying some guy 1500 they wanted .. just get a good long level .. measure twice, and put up a ledger board to help you hold them up .. and an extra pair of hands ..
