Along with the bus, which will hit the street in days, NZT will be releasing a vintage Caterpillar D2 crawler kit. It consists of three pieces that go together in less than a minute. Here is the very first test casting, in the planned production color:

As seen above, it will stop on a dime.

Sweet!  Need a couple for the circus train in the planning stage and for several industries.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

You're slipping DKS. There is no seated figure with lunch pail. And no smoking unit to emulate the diesel exhaust! Get it together!

Hmm... I hope no one
asks for a clear casting...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Never argue with idiots; they'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Oh YESSS!
Finally something era-appropriate to denude and obliterate the natural terrain on my circa '50 Summit!
Fire prevention by dozer, just like the real thing

I have to ask the obvious question... would these Caterpillars be around in 1971?

Hmm... I'd much rather
have butterflies...

D2's started manufacture in 1938, and were pretty widely used during WWII....you ever see the SeaBees movie with John Wayne?

Count me for a couple of these!

Although production of this particular model ended in 1957, there are still a lot of these guys around and in use.

Wowsa! I'd forgotten how "small" these D-2s were. And yes, there are still a zillion of them out working.
