The driver of that truck is incredibly stupid.  (How do you not hear the horn?  If you have your stereo turned up that loud, how do you not look down the track?)

Interesting that you can hear as the engineer gives up on the horn and then you hear the air fully release a fraction of a second later.  The guy got a good documentation of what that sounds like.  And of course the train still shows no sign of slowing down by the time the video ends.  Probably a full grain train.

Since the train was about a half-second shy of slamming into the cab, even the tiniest decrease in speed that emergency application may have actually made before impact, could easily have been the difference between those guys living or dying instantly.  That sound of the air being dumped may have been the sound of those guys lives being saved.
