I've used canopy glue on some 1:87th scale diecast trucks .I've the best way is to let it set upright for a few minutes then turn the shell upside down.

I am going to try Michael's gloss medium trick for these little critters though.I think it will give better results. :D

Researching the Norfolk Ford plant it seems I'll need Ford F series trucks (1973-1979?) to put in the bi-level autoracks.

Anyone make one? ;)

Well I can add my voice to the list of satisfied customers for these models.  My order arrived today and they are very well done.  I will be placing an order for the new ones when I return from my summer vacation.

I received 10 of the '68 pickup trucks (for an autorack) and four other vehicles. They look really great!

Hmm... I wonder what
it would cost to fill up a
G scale autorack...

The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Plus, the crowd seems ok :)

I think that you will like these cars, and we can always use another Dave/David and/or Brian/Bryan.

Best wishes, Dave

I received my package today. I got everything from the first announcement that was produced after 1970.

The bodies are sharp and the detail is very good. Windows require a bit of clean up, but nothing 2 minutes with a small file would not take car of. The interiors are really good! The wheels are not quite as detailed as Willmodels or GHQ, but they have built in axles and centering hubs which makes installation easier.

I will be ordering more. Hopfully, we will see some 80's era vehicles soon. I would love a few Lincolns and Caddys.

+1 Now I know what my HO scale vans look like inside.

My package of automobiles arrived here in Ireland today.
Having open windows really sets them apart form solid vehicles, excellent.

Now to start painting.

My 4 arrived a few weeks ago (very nice) but I haven't had a chance to do anything with them until this weekend.  Here's the first one - I got a little overspray on the roof, and when lightly sanding went through to the primer.  I think I'm going to leave it, it's a 27 year old truck on my layout and the hard California sun has taken it's toll on the paint :).  Next up in the paint booth is a Ford Econoline (that's in in primer in the background of the second photo). . .

And leaving after enjoying his double double with grilled onions :)

Nice paint job on that Ford pickup Dave!

I have four additional vehicles available - I cleaned the flash from the window openings on these so that you can see what they look like, but you will most likely have to do that yourself on any castings I send.  First, a 1966 Ford Fairlane 4 door.  I ruined the master about six times while trying to hollow one out.  The details on this aren't as crisp when compared to other vehicles I have done.  This is due to the model I started with:

A 1964 Olds Vista Cruiser wagon.  On this version, I did not open up the windows in the roof, like I did on the 1971 version.  I recommend you paint them a dark color instead.

A 1964 Ford Falcon 2 door:

And, a short bed version of the 68 Ford pickup.  I kitbashed this from a long bed casting, but the details are still in decent shape.  This comes as three pieces like the long bed version.  I reshaped the top of the windshield opening slightly.  The top of the front of the pickup box is a little rough and may need to be touched up with a file:

Let me know when you start doing some MG and Lotus sports cars. I'm looking for something either iconic or high-brow to turn into a polished garage treasure.
I'm also waiting for some AMC models.  :D
