Following how well the Dry Bulk Trailers came out, I decided to make a pair of Free-moN modules just so I could use 5-6 trailers.

The Roca Dry Bulk Transfer is based heavily on Roca, Nebraska (Satellite View).

Added lineside towers (poles?) for the river crossing at Gills Landing, but I guess you guys already knew that. I'm going to attempt an osprey nest on top of one of them. The one tower looks naked without it.

Hyperion, is the temperature read out for the Xbox internals? Have you tried the Forza Horizon demo yet?

The temperature read-out is off a probe.  I could put it inside the case of the 360 fairly easily (or more readily, right on top of it), but I initially installed it behind the LCD monitor because I didn't want it to not turn on when using the PS3 (which is, actually, quite rare).  However, after using it a couple days, I am considering moving it down to where the 360 is, or at least somewhere down in that area so that it will turn on when either console is on.  That should have it turn on sooner and stay on longer.  Right now, it actually does an awesome job of cooling -- so much so that it drops it down from 82 (when it turns on) to 77 (when it turns off) in just a couple minutes.  But it's back up to 82 in just a few more minutes.  So it's cycling a lot right now.

And, no, haven't tried the Horizon demo yet.  I normally try to avoid demos actually.  I like the surprise of the full version.  Haven't had the time anyways, as I'm only home 2 days a week and this was Dishonored and XCOM week.  I've heard good things about it for the most part though, as long as one doesn't view it as a replacement for Forza 4, but just a companion product for it.

I'm going to move from recent freight cars to some of my recent structures. 
Here is an AMB UP depot kit that I have heavily modified to resemble a Milwaukee Road Depot for my layout.





Besides colour, moving the front door and a window, what else did you do  to the AMB kit ???

Your scene looks great and will look even better with the nest.  They are all over my prototype area so much so that the line men put up platforms for the ospreys to nest in to try and discourage them from using the line poles.

Here is one on the East end of the Kootenay River Bridge at Taghum.



And with regards to the extra flags, they are actually useful for operations as we run at least 50% extras and sometimes second sections.    When your train is waiting at a register station it is useful to know what that train is that is approaching and whether there is more of it following!

I didn't move any doors or windows. 
What modifications I did make are to the siding.  All of the darker gray wainscoting, chair rails and/or trim are made from Evergreen Styrene car siding and Evergreen strip and substituted in place of the AMB wood siding I removed from the bottoms of the kit walls. 
It isn't intended to be modeled after any specific Milwaukee Depot but does have an unmistakeably recognizable appearance which is what I was shooting for.

No photos to show but we are spending the weekend in Chattanooga, TN. Rode the train at the Tennessee Valley Railroad. Unlike most "tourist" railroads we've visited they turn the engine at both ends of the run.

Highlight of the day was finding Rapido code 80 flex track at dollar a piece. Bought enough to finish the helix between Gallitzin and Spruce Creeke. Then we went the Model Railroad Museum were stumbled across Atlas code 55 at $1 a piece. I bought about 30 pieces, enough for about 75 feet of track.

Oh ... I thought your starting point was AMB kit 627.  What was it, if you don't mind sharing

That's the kit. 
I see what you mean about the door location.  I may have in fact moved it, though it's been a couple years since I completed it.  The window openings are taller than the doorways, so it would simply be a matter of cutting the window opening larger and filling the top part of the doorway with some extra siding.  Comparing the two locations of the doors, it may have made more sense to me at the time to have it closer to the telegraphers bay.

Once again, I have to say I'm totally blown away by the weathering, and also the realistic and eclectic motive power lashups. Long live the C-liners!

The white extra flags are look great, and it's good to know they actually even perform their true function in an ops session.

Wazzou, that is a beauty of a station.  The weathered siding look is so GOOD.
Richie, that UP loco... heh... it's great!  Layer upon layer upon layer... every pipe, every line,
every little hatch... I can really empathize.  But it becomes so real that way.  I am really enjoying watching
that thing develop.

Here's my entry for this week.  I will throw more detail photos in my "project" thread on this engine, but here's a summary
of where it is.

SP&S probably #604,  605 or 609  class C-1:
There were a ton of hours in this to get it from the last state to this, but it probably doesn't show much.
The annotations tell the story.  And yes, this thing really did have a big tender.  It's almost like
an Atlantic with a "coast to coast" tender.  (If you click the pic, it gets bigger)
