Well, it's something, that's a step in the right direction.
I’m not here to argue

That is something, I think that is also the first time the Bellows Falls Creanery scheme has been re-run since the initial offering.

I like most of the schemes and will buy a couple. The only thing I don't like is the over 6 month lead time before they get here. It does seem that announcements are getting farther and farther ahead of the product (not just Athearn).

I'll buy the Bellows Falls cars just because I run trains through Bellows Falls.

So, the title of this thread: is that what one could consider a poor joke in the classical style?

It sounded like a good idea at the time... too bad the caboose wasn't in on the plan.

I thought that the only Bellow's (sic) Falls Creamery reefer was prodiuced by Micro Trains.

Pete,
Micro Trains did it but they did it on the wrong car.
I'm looking forward to getting all three numbers. Must call Chuck and place an order!!  :D

Anyone know if these cars come close to the Surplee cars the PRR carried to Philadelphia on several of their trains?

Don't
need 'em myself.  But glad to see anything being released after the meltdown.  Go team Athearn...

I am pleased with the price line on it.  Are these cars they designed or are they ones that they picked up somewhere along the way?  Either way it is a good price!

These are "modern" Athearn tooling, not repop's of an MDC car.
