Very cool..... kinda brings a tear to your eyes........I wonder if he was inspired by the two Toronto teens that sent their "legoman" into space last years.....?

Puddinton, great guess!!!  The Yahoo article I got it from stated that very fact. 

What else is cool is that the dad seems very young, so all is not lost in that generation just yet!

The facial expressions on Stanley really make the video great.

hey hey, I am that generation...and model railroading isn't lost on me...hopefully once my little one is here, he is into trains as much as I am

You'll notice in the video that the box that is attached to the balloon had a camera and a GPS unit in it.  Once it returns to earth, you can track it with another GPS unit.

Aaaaaaaaand, the record industry killed another good thing.
Their is a copyright claim against it and its blocked.
I hate the record companies.

(Edit) so it looks like it was a claim is from the video owner to the person who reported the video
