Nice work Gary, I think you made a good decision to fix the section of benchwork in front of the door.   It is very high and should not strain backs too much (and this is coming from someone who is 6'6"!).

Jim, I love the detail scene at Caliente.  Is that gate a commercial etching?

Thanks, Gary.  The gate came from Neal's N-Gauging Trains.  MBK is stocking his stuff, some interesting details.  The farm gate set hit my eyes as being perfect for what I wanted.  It's on a huge fret, definitely get your money's worth.

And keep waiting - the best is yet to come!  (Of course that's my feeling, the rest of you guys may think it's a bust.  We'll see.)

-edit: fixed a misplaced quote tag.  Looking forward to the next unveiling too!  -gfh

Sounds drastic.  Did it really smell that bad?

As always, great work from a lot of folks this week.

Also from the significant but not so photogenic department, the Bath & Hammondsport has finally reached Bath and is physically connected with the Erie.  Still have to connect a few feeders to the power buss, but interchange is now possible.  Let the games (operations) begin!

Ive been preparing for Issac as well. It's throwing a wrench into my birthday plans as well (just like Katrina)

As far as trains go, just some resoldering of wires on one of my F45s and waiting on a package from MBK.

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.

Hey Ron,

Progress! Very Nice. I like those F-units on the point. Good to see you two in Bedford over the weekend!

Kinda puts a twist on the reefer block concept......
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

 :D

I looked at this thread this morning on my mobile but couldn't see Richie's picture, so I didn't get it.  Now I get it!  I think Richie knows a thing or two about BC too, eh?
