Added a baseline treeline for Medina Junction's backdrop. One of those 20 minute projects. Will add a lot more trees later...

Really nice detail - I need to string some of my poles and do drops to the houses.  Of course, I'd have to finish my houses . . . :facepalm:

Thanks very much sirs. I do appreciate the responses. I'll keep striving to make things look better.

My scenes are a bit too happy. I'll be glad to get the tracks, cars, etc. weathered & add some assorted junk. I'll also be glad to get some trees here and there. More updates to follow...

Looking great. I have power line envy right now. The electricity went out Tuesday night in a storm and I have been generating since then. The Milwaukee Road coil car looks great. Nice subtle weathering job.

I dunno where the comment went from yesterday but...

Yes, the poles definitely have a bad lean in that one area of Nelsons. They do look pretty bad. I agree. However, there are two reasons for the sloppiness. One: Their proximity to the backdrop (like extremely close to it) forced me to lean them quite a bit so as to avoid them casting a shadow on it. Two: The poles are meant to represent those of a line that is in decline and will be removed in just a few years. My pictures do indeed highlight the lean, but frankly Scarlett...  ;)

And do not worry friend, no offense taken.  :) If something looks bad - tell me. I am open to all comments (Well, most all that is  ;))

Sorry to hear about a real power loss out there. It happens here every few months due to storms of some form. The blessing - no T.V., the bummer - running the layout by touching 9 volt batteries to the tracks.  ;)

I am tempted to go back and add a third line to some prior lines. But their proximity to the backdrop prevented me from doing so the first time. Hmmmm...

Don't forget that they had a fair amount of IMS coming out of Green Bay on a daily basis (mostly orange Schneider trailers).  Southbound train was T218 (later GBHA1Z; often referred to as "Gabby-Haze") and the northbound was T219 (HAGB1Z).  For a while based on demand I think they also ran a T220/T221 which was overflow IMS and from what I remember/photos I have seen was often double-stacks.
