Love it....but why did you put Curley's head on Larry's body?
Kinda like this...?BTW, this is the 87th banner I've done for Railwire.
Ian,Nice Control Panel !
Ian,Looks great. Are you trying to added a bit of an arch to the bridge? Most people seem to build bridges flat but many that I have seen have an arch to them.
Dave there is. It looks so exaggerated because I have not set the pillars yet
Ian,I like the arch and I think that it could be even more pronounced than how you have it currently. Best wishes, Dave
I would agree with Dave Schneider, except that, around here anyway, when those old bridges were not level, the rectangular openings in the guardrails usually remained vertical. The more arch put into the model will highlight that the guardrail openings are not plumb.Just my two cents; your opinion may vary,DFF
Tony,The only commercial items in this model are as follows:White metal doors in the platform vestibule and the south end of the building.white metal staircase from the platform down to the baggage room (you can't see that unless you're really looking for it)two Gloor Craft double hung windows on the angled portion of the bay window. (The wide one on the front is scratched out of Evergreen stock)A yet to be installed white metal flagpole above the cornice on the north side.I used a handful of gloor craft windows and doors on the interior work, as well as some odds and ends like stair railings etc.All of the walls, cornices, platform and roof is scratched out of Evergreen and Plastruct. The windows and odd doors are being done by Zox on his Silhouette cutter.Lee
