Not at all a big Exactrail fan because of their repeated duplication of existing cars but I may have to get some of the DJLX gons as they are being run by my house daily in pig iron service.

I was given one of the Vertapak cars the other day by a customer at the shop. He was fed up with it and said "If you don't want this thing, it is going in the trash because it will not stay on the tracks." I took to see if it was really that bad. He was right, this thing is the biggest POS railcar I have owned yet, I may finish the job for him and file it in the cylindrical filling cabinet on the floor. It doesn't suit my era's and it's really not worth the effort to make it work. The detail is clunky and the paint is Athearn gondola thick. It would be fine on 20"R curves but for the avearge person, it is useless.

Hey Mike. Looking for a clarification. Has Exactrail modified existing N scale tooling for body mounted couplers? Which cars?

Thanks for the reporting.
Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Any word on when we might expect the FVM Milwaukee cabooses or the BLMA TTX flats?
I’m not here to argue

I'll answer for Mike since he's probably in transit currently.  Yes.  All of them.
