I'd settle for BLMA releasing the brown F89 for intermodal service, rather than continuing to push these further into the future as has been happening. Any further and I will start to believe the BL in BLMA stands for Broadway Limited.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

TTX is too late for me... but they do mention conversion kits.

What we need is a frame flat.

They still show an arrival date of 30Jan on Horizon;s dealer portal. Hope they can meet that.

I believe last I heard, the first two versions of the N scale cars are on the ocean en route.  Yellow TT in the summer.

Regarding the N Scale F89-J's and their tardiness...

It's safe to say that not every project is simple.  The N Scale Spine Cars and the F89-J's have easily been our two most complex projects for numerous reasons - mainly, because we want to make them identical to the prototype, per road number.  For instance, the F89-J's feature a multitude of era specific details including hitches, bridge plates, risers (wood or steel) and more.  Furthermore, of the six announced RTTX road numbers, there are three completely unique paint variations between six numbers - that's something I don't think any other manufacturer is doing and showcases our commitment to quality.  The models are currently in production and your patience is appreciated; they'll be worth the wait.

I also have to point out that we've announced and delivered TopGons, 52' Gondolas, 64' Reefers, Spine Cars and PS-4000's - many of which were delivered on time.  Fact is, each car presents new challenges.  More to come...

Hope there will be another run  of the PS4000's in the offing. An ICG or MILW.

Do you have any pictures of an ICG car?  I know they had Greenville built 4000cu ft cars, but I can't seem to remember if IC/GM&O/ICG ever had PS-4000s off the top of my head (can't access my roster either)

Then you add in the port delays for things as simple as down equipment all the way to the anarchists blocking the entrance. There are so many things that no one person can account for in a schedule these days. If it were me I might do a variation of the atlas production schedule with columns such as announced, production model approved, departed factory, arrived port, here! No real date given, just an inside look at whats going on. Once you filled in a couple of models on this, I would think it would be pretty easy to tell how far out a given product is. Do you actually want to give out that much info about your production schedule? I don't know. But I would think that once you announced a product there would not be a whole lot you need to keep close to the chest. I know BMW has a part of it's site that if you order a car it tells you when they start and you can follow it's production day by day. Pretty detailed and neat to see.
