Incredibly crude kits... and doesn't even match the prototype.

Railfan more :P  I would have to say that when loaded... these cars aren't common in many areas due to clearance restrictions...

I caught one empty on the rear of a manifest on the Pokey...

Hey Robbman,couldn't you atleast compare two models of the same car instead of two different versions? :? I will agree with you on one point though that first car does seem a bit crude.

Both of them are waaaay out of my train budget range.

If the same model was available... I would have.  That one actually matches it's prototype and the other doesn't (Con-Sys used the same end on both ends, in the pictures they edns are clearly different), combined with the vast difference in level of detail, was enough for me.
