Ok the "Atlantic" car is Atlantic Sugar Refining Limited. Artwork now up on Athearns website. They are getting the more colorful schemes out first Lou. Kinda wish they would do the Brach's Candy car.

Careful what you wish for.  They might be $50 each by then.  :)

So are the Athearn N scale Bombardier cars which were $29 a year ago and the new release is $49.

Let's just skip $50 freight cars, and go right to a nice round $100 a car, that makes figuring out the discount easier for me.

For the brand new stuff you need to go throught the 'advanced search' until it gets put on the site.

I'm pretty sure the giant leap in commuter car prices was due to licensing.

Does anyone know a good date for the Revere Sugar? I found an article dated 1987 that described a Revere Sugar plot of land in Charlestown being sold in 1987 so I figure these cars were gone by then. Anyone know for sure?

I don't recall any of these schemes in the 1990's but would love to be proven wrong.

I did find a post on the Atlas Forum proving that the drawbar connected Italgrani cars are good for 1993-1995 though.

I might need to pick up a Canadian Dount car....as long as I don't have to buy a dozen.

Mmmmm....donuts......

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Am I they only person that can't stomach Tim's maple fare? We had a supplier drop off some of Tim's 'coffee' and a dozen doughnuts today at work. Included we're a couple maple (a cream filled and a traditional dipped). We (the maples) and I stared back and forth at each other all day as I picked off their bothers, until finally some of the field service guys came back at the end of the day and gave them (the maples) sweet release. I'd gladly pack some off to you, Dave, but the Canada Post folks would dig into that package long before it left Toronto!

FWIW, Dunkin' coffee is nasty, but their donuts are way, waaayyy better than Timmies. Kept me fueled up along the WNYP in October  :D

I see an Atlantic Sugar or two in my future (not sure if they fit my era), but not much else.
