The price is within reason. I fear the calibration may be a real hassle. I've seen this for at least a year now. Has it been upgraded?

I really don't know. I just know that Shapeways thread drifted into individuals seeking other means. Personally my next two tool purchases will bs a high end soldering rig and an SD Silohuette cutter.
