N Scale forum Top 10 threads are products, should we have a product
review forum separate from N Scale. I know the topic descriptions says
product reviews...But every thread? - I come here for all the great
modeling from Smith to Weldon and everything in-between.

the problem is that the announcements come and go, is their enough monthly traffic to justify a whole forum.

I like the way they do it on the German forum 1zu160 - they have a separate listing of all the announcements for the year sorted by manufacturer. 

Might actually be a traffic draw...  I can host it for you guys if that's an issue - Joomla or WP...

I don't think it's a hosting issue... it's more about fragmenting the forum. We've been through several reorgs in the past, and it never fails to ruffle feathers.

I wasn't clear - not suggesting a forum split at all - but rather a group owned blog where you could catalog all new announcements.  no discusssion - just info on new products.

But this was a spur of the moment thought based upon the OP, so it's totally half baked!
