« on: August 12, 2011, 06:53:36 PM »
It has now been 48 hours since the domain switched over.  Netsolhost is no longer used.  Please make sure you use therailwire.net from now on.

Thanks, stay cool and run steam... 8) 8)

How about speed issues?  This is the same server that hosts weatheringfactory.com, which I always thought was slow.  I'm now thinking that Wordpress is slow... :-\

Seems fairly fast to me.  Might be just a hair more lag opening posts but it's not bad.

Just documenting an oddity: all of the sudden, I can't get to the N scale forum.  Home and all the other fora are accesible, and I was accessing it fine about 10 min earlier.  (It's about 1:20 pm PT as I write.)

Gary,

I see that too every now and then, only from my iPad, and only when clicking this page (trying to get back to the general discussion page after reading a thread):

I'll look into it :-\

Not sure if it is related, but I now get the "Robot detected" screen when I come to the site. After doing the basic math questions it goes to the main RailWire page.

This afternoon at work the access to pages, including page two of a couple of threads, and the reply page, hiccupped on the office rig, a newer HP model box running whatever windows version was the fad last November when we bought it.  That was on Firefox.

Runs fine at home, so really, the only complaints I have are the usual ones about the bad comedy writers some posters employ, and the shallow selection offered at the bar in the crew lounge.
