I have attempted to detail some loco numbers but have failed miserably. How do you do it and what do you use? I had to remove the slop that I did and do not wish to try again until some one gives me some tips.

Bill,

This is a broad topic and many paragraphs could be written on how to do this. To get things started could you tell us what you did and at what point did things so badly. That might focus the discussion a bit. One place to start is with a description of the surface to which you tried to apply the decals. Glossy or flat paint. Clean? Surface relief?

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Photos would be helpful in addition to more written details. Also, were they commercial decals, or DIYs?
