What do the other sides of these cars look like? I presume that since graffiti is probably never the same on both sides, the two sides would be quite different.

Good question..

Ah boy the more I see weathered cars the more tempting they are..Even a few *cough* cough*  *gag* graffiti up cars. :o

Those are nice looking cars.

Interesting point. But, since you almost never see both sides of the car at the same time, does it matter?

I don't suppose it does matter. It might make a difference to someone whose layout has enough loops and curves that one can see both sides within seconds of operation, but it wouldn't stop me from buying a car I really like. And despite the relatively complex design of the graffiti, it's probably cheaper to paint both sides the same. Mostly I was just curious. Does anyone here have any MTL weathered/graffiti cars? Are both sides the same?

All of the MTL cars I've gotten have the graffiti on one side only, but the weathering is all over the car and different on each side.

I don't think I've ever seen the same tags done on both sides before.  They are usually different if it's on both sides of the car and probably done by different taggers at that.

Thanks. That makes sense to me. A person could just turn the car around if looking at the same graffiti gets tiresome.

The best yet.  I may even get a set and see what I can do above and beyond the great "base" work.

I'm not sure but that might be the best "props" ever given a weathered product ......period.
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Frank

Most layouts are a variation of a loop so we do see both sides .
