Does anyone know how to fix Kato locos?

I got a Kato SD70ACe in the mail today and while it is beautifully detailed, when I picked it up out of the box the trucks fell off and the little drive rods attached to the worm gears came with. Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried putting the trucks back on, but they won't stay. Are they supposed to click or snap or something? I don't want to put too much pressure on it because I am afraid of further destroying it. Can someone please help me?

Go to the Kato web site and ollk ath the info for the SD-40-2 Mid production. It shows how it comes apart and goes back together. I have recieved several with the trucks out. It is very easy to fix. You can not just push the trucks in because the upper part of the truck is still in the frame. Be sure that the little tits on the black top go behind the tabs for pickup. It should not take you more than 5 min. to fix them. Bob.

Send it to Kato and let them fix it...  I had one that was apart like this right out of the box and it is a packing issue, like the original Mikado drawbar fiasco remember that?  They need to modify the packaging to keep the trucks together in the box during shipping...
