I have been converting some Kato and Atlas 2 bay hoppers into ballast cars by cutting a large hole in the roof. Still thinking about the ballast doors and not too worried about inside slope sheets and stuff, since they will be loaded.
Reconsidering this project in the light of possible Herzog cars coming from Athearn...
