Nothing for me this month, thanks.  MTL's had a few goodies for me in the past year, so I don't mind the wallet break.

A runner pack of MKT 2-Bay ACF's???  I'm a Katy fan, but that makes no sense to me.   Not that anything MTL does ever really makes sense to me, but the law of averages says they would at some point.

How about a runner pack of KCS scale test cars next?

I may get the Texaco tanker.

Wow - a black tanker!

Any clue as to how late this scheme would be seen?

These 39’ single dome tank cars are painted black with white logos and lettering. They were built by Pennsylvania Tank Car Co. in May 1925 and runs on Bettendorf trucks.

Those Tank cars look nice. Unfortunately, I just tanked up on tankers.

Earlier than the more famous silver version with the black billboard lettering, and those were fairly early in the century.  Also I think the prototype was an 8k gallon car.  They do look sharp though.

The tanks look good.  I may have to spring for the NP runner pack too.  And speaking of the NP's;   in my opinion they should be numbered in the 3000 series instead of the 8000 series.  The 3000's were actually built by PS (not at the NPs home shop) and the details match better.  Not perfect, but better.

The load makes the D&H car look a little tempting.
