Ah... but dogs are loud, dumb, messy, clumsy, and require attention. "It's my favorite thing!!"
Cats are quiet, vengeful, self-cleaning, little box trained at birth (if needed), only come around when they feel like it, and entertain themselves. "You think I like that feather in my face? Just wait 'til you go to sleep..."
I often wish we could donate our Dachshund to the local food bank. The cats are much easier to deal with.
