When those GP-15-1's are ready for sale, I think a couple may end up in Frisco Manderain Orange for me! Now does anybody out-there wanna make some brass or pewter Leslie 5-chimes all forward-facing?

Five and Six.

Seven.

Also, if anyone wants to prep their electric locomotives to run under the wire when visiting the CV, here's the electrical schematic for how i've got the pantographs and toggle switch connected:

All the diodes are 1n4148 high-speed switching diodes. The relays are simple 12vdc SPST, although i typically use the Potter-Brumfield KH styles. This setup is designed to allow the locomotive to choose the proper return rail, regardless of which way it's oriented when placed on the track.

"Warning- while you were reading a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post." Hey! I haven't even written my post or sent it yet yet I get the BIG RED NESSAGE. Wow ! It really is November.Had my last day of sailing RC model Park where we go sailing is down to almost winter levels so it is hard to sail a boat without getting stranded. Now for the real weekend part of my thread (post). After finally getting all the electrical problems that my layout was having fixed,I held an OP Session did it on a Saturday not the usual Sunday schedule. Spent 48 hours before the session installing more Fox Valley metal wheels to the fleet of cars that are perminantly out on the layout and used at the sessions, with car cards. Now my fleet is about 80% converted. The engineer on the branch line train was trying to switch the cars on to the proper tracks in the interchange yard for pickup and delivery by Eastbound and Westbound freights to the main yard to go off line ,he found he was having his locomotives go dead this had not happend before. The problem was soon discovered to be those new metal wheels and gapped track. Don't park cars with metal wheels on a gap or with one end on either side and expect the switch when thrown to work correctly. Nate Goodman (Nato).

Awww s***, the S bought his jeep!

Yeah! I am excited. She's not perfect, but she's in good condition and pretty solid for a 60yr old vehicle that hasn't had a frame off restoration. I'm hoping to have her in a week or so (she's in Boonsboro). One day when I have a garage I'll give her the TLC and new/nos/fully restored parts she deserves.

The Cambridge Dorchester Christmas Parade loves jeeps!  Dec. 5.  Get your parade application at www.christmasparade.org!

Lee

I'll have to put a tow hitch on the truck and rent a trailer locally to bring her down, so we'll see!

My LHS couldn't get my Kappler bridge ties, so I ordered direct  :(

Other than that, I raked leaves, cut the grass and watched some football.
