It could be the deed to a bowling alley

The house is in Cleveland:
Josh Surkosky

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

The first four are references to A Christmas Story. The last one is a twist on the grumpy cat meme.

Many of us Americans have the same problem with some of these message threads ---- it's not merely a language issue, but also a generational culture thing.

Dave, will the crates be sealed up prior to the movers showing up?

If so, I'd suggest you wait, that way if the movers do the final "sealing," its considered carrier packed, so if any damage occurs its the movers fault, where as if you have it packed and sealed, its owner packed, and any damage they are not liable for.  I've seen guys I've work with have TVs shipped in the original box, that they taped up prior to the movers coming, they were liable for any damage, so when they PCS'd and got to the new base, and the TV didn't work, they were screwed.

Yes, for some reason, even though it plays nearly non stop in December, there is a segment of the population that has not seen the movie. Even though it is a truly funny story with some of the all time best lines as already quoted here. Heck even my wife finishes "must be italian" with me.

Lines of thought?  No.
Streams of (un-)consciousness?  Possibly.
These guys just respond with the first thing that comes into their (putative) brains.
This (apparently) is the reason that they are called a$$hats?  :ashat:
