Dave, You're such a layout tease  :D  Just kidding. Are you still planning on extending the Juniata Division?

If Atlas plans on creating a reliable supply of code 55 track, then yes...

Nice room!  We painted our new family room a similiar color, and I thought it'd be pefect for foggy morning pictures.  My wife just shook her head.

It's really good to see it close to back up on its feet. It's been too long!

Dave is that IKEA curio the DETOLF one? If so, can you add more shelves inside it?

Yeah, DETOLF.  Haven't checked as to more shelves, but that would be handy.

If you're looking for more shelves, I've found that the "scratch and dent" section of the local Ikea often has parts on the cheap.

Our "local" Ikea is in Denver, but we have to make another trip soon anyway.

You know what else is in Denver?  No, I don't mean Casa Bonita (see South Park episode).  Nope.  The M B Klein of the West...  Caboose Hobbies!

Heh, I just got an email from Caboose Hobbies this morning for a one-day sale (today) with free shipping.  Must… fight… urge… to… spend… more… money.

Hey Dave, are you going to do the new module first or replace the code 80 on the existing module?

Boulder is about 2 hours north of me depending on traffic.

If you think you can make it I may be able to get the layout up with limited running.

As for what to do first, it's kind of a chicken and egg thing.  To do any of the various mods I've considered, I need to make major track changes on the original section, which pretty much suggests doing the full track conversion at that point.  The cost and time involved in doing both at once are why I've dithered so long.

Any idea at this point what code 55 track inventory you're going to need to rebuild the JD?

Caboose Hobbies is worth a trip. I have not been there since 2001. I hope the decals I bought then are still good.

Nope...

Much depends on how I address Enola.

I'm hoping DKS is still lurking...  I have it in my mind these days to add a second 36" wide door in a U-shape.  I'll see if I can scribble up a drawing of my current idea.
