For those that haven't seen the ad on the Trains/MR site, there are some N scale items for auction at:

http://www.gomotorbids.com/SearchAlt.cfm?Scale_ID=67&Scale=N%20Scale&ShowEmpty=yes

Down to 4 hours on some of it.

I have no affiliation or even knowledge of site prior to three minutes ago.

How much worse are those than MDC hoppers parading as H2A's?

The items above are flat end rib side twins painted in 1950s schemes for a class that was peak end fishbelly (Atlas has these nailed) and most likely never saw 1950s style lettering. (class HL was completely rebuilt into class H-9 starting in the late 1940s thru the early 1950s).

What HL should look like:

For N&W H2a let's review the 70 ton 3 bay rib side peaked end options (think fleet here), here's the N scale list:

A) MDC/Athearn 70 ton 3 bay rib side peaked end hopper.
B)

Oh crap there is no B!

How long will it be before they show us how to add DCC to a tree?

btw, shipping is MURDER.

$9.80 for a single item, $1.95 each additional item.

5 items would be $17.60 in shipping, or $3.52 each.  that's crazy.

I have to thank Trains.com for that little gem.  I left a gem of my own:
