The threads on this forum and others will be a little less informative because Gregg is no longer participating.

Farewell sir, and thank you.

Shock and sadness are but two of the feelings I have just experiended with learning of Gregg's passing. Knowledgable; willing to share and a fine modeler are but a few of the ways to describe this gentleman. He and I shared a interest in the paper industry due to our employment and I will never forget some of the disucssions through posts and PM's we had about the business and how it was affected by the railway industry.

To his family and friends I send my prayers and condolances.

You've got the highball all the way now Gregg !
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

We have lost a lot of icons in the world lately.  To all of us Greg was right up there with them all.  His passing was a real loss to us all and to us SPF's in particular.  Greg is now witnessing what the prophet Isaiah only glimpsed when he wrote:

"In the year that King Uzzi'ah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple."  Isaiah 6:1

Sad indeed! A great loss to the N-Scale community. There were not a lot of topics Gregg did not offer his 2-cents toward. Especially on this list! For that we are all grateful. Our Sympathies go out to his family during this difficult time.

Respectfully,

Dan

My deepest sympathies go out to his family.  Gregg was a wealth of information and an all around great guy.  He will definitely be missed as now there is a big void that has been left by his passing.

I am so saddened to learn of his passing.   His archive of historical photos, particularly of Montreal where I grew up and still reside, and his
adventurous kitbash modeling are but two of many contributions to the forums that will be deeply missed.  Deepest sympathies to his family
and friends.

Wow!  I haven't looked at this board in over a month.  This is sad news.  I always appreciated Gregg's encyclopedic knowledge of all things RR related.  He'll definitely be missed . . . and remembered.
