Didn't the PRR own an executive jet co. before they became PC? Don't remember the name.
You were close - Executive Jet Aviation. Not only that, but PRR once was a stockholder in Transcontinental & Western Airlines, the original name of TWA. Many many railroads had executive aircraft, even Railroad Management & Consulting (Earl Durden) out of Panama City. The ICC made PRR divest its shares in Pennsylvania Greyhound Lines and TWA. PRR was still thinking of new ways to move people and goods until the PC merger. A study was made of using hovercraft or ground effect machines in the early 1960's.
