That's a CF wood caboose - an N&W original.

The "hamburger" scheme is the one with the "N&W" as the meat with a "bun" at top and bottom. The original N&W logo had the "N", the "&", and the "W" conforming to the circle and taking it up entirely.

The 500836 is a resident at the Monticello Railway Museum in Monticello, IL.  The 'nice, clean' photo in the thread was taken there.  It is supposedly the actual prototype that LL measured for their model.  What's neat about this caboose is that 'P&WV' is stamped on the truck sideframes.  There is no mistaking who's caboose it originally was.
